General Assembly
Committee Description:
The United Nations General Assembly is one of the most important policy-making organs in the United Nations. It comprises all member states which proves the inclusion of the committee. The General Assembly addresses and forms versatile key decisions such as appointing the non-permanent members of the Security Council and approving the UN budget. All written resolutions will be debated by delegates to protect them and their country. The first General Assembly focuses its discussions on disarmament concerns(disarming countries from their abuse of their weapons) that arise in the General Assembly, which overlaps with other UN organs such as the Disarmament Commission.
